The GATE Exam, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination conducted in India for admission to postgraduate programs in engineering, technology, and architecture. It scores are also used by many public sector undertakings (PSUs) in India for recruitment purposes. The GateExam is conducted by one of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) or Indian Institute of Science (IISc) on behalf of the national Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
