csir net Physics syllabus & Exam patterns

The CSIR UGC NET exam is administrated in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The paper contains of 200 marks.
Number of questions should be 120.
The type of question are MCQ pattern and Language of the question paper shall be Hindi & English.
The time duration of the exam is 180 minutes ( 3 hours).
The question paper shall be divided into three sections and the questions in Part A, B and C will carry 2, 2 and 4 marks respectively.
Negative marking for the incorrect answers.

The question paper shall be divided into two sections and the questions in General Paper & Physical Science will carry 2 & 2 marks respectively.
